Mainstreet Piqua is proud to bring the first-ever Harvest Days to Downtown Piqua!  This family-friendly harvest themed event will feature lots of traditional fall fun with the goal of supporting the Bethany Center  – an organization that does so much for our community.

A full day of activity is planned for downtown Piqua!

Pumpkin patch – Donate a canned good, or show a $5 receipt from a downtown business or make a donation to get a pumpkin.

Pumpkin Bowling – Can you strike the pins with a wonky ball?

Corn Hole Games – Bring some friends or find some new ones for a pick-up game!

Downtown Piqua Costumed Pet Parade

Saturday, October 19 – Canal Place

Meet at 2:00 p.m.
Parade starts at 3:00 p.m.

Please bring this application with you on Saturday, October 19. There is NO Entry fee for this event. The parade will meet at Canal Place starting at 2 p.m. Entry numbers will be handed out for the humans to wear when you arrive! The parade will start at 3:00 p.m. and will travel from Canal Place to the main entertainment stage.

There are 3 different categories. You will need to choose ONE category that you want to enter. All decisions of the judges are final. Twenty-five dollar prizes will be handed out to the winners of each category. Alternate prizes will be given to the runner-up winners.

The categories are:

1. – Spookiest Pet

2. - Best Pet & Owner (matching) Costumes

3. - Best costume representing Harvest Days Theme

General rules

Stay on leash – Animals must be on a leash no longer than 4’ or held in owner’s arms

Keep your animal calm – If an animal is aggressive or is in heat, PLEASE do not bring it to the event. If you pet becomes aggressive you may be asked to leave.

In addition, please:

  • Pick up after your pet. Bring waste bags for your pet.
  • Vaccinations must be current.
  • Be courteous. Be kind and understanding of your fellow pets and humans.
  • All Pets are welcome. This isn’t just for dogs. Bring your pets, cats, rabbits, birds and reptiles.
  • Please make sure your pet is dressed safely and comfortably.

You are legally and financially responsible for any injury caused by your pet.
