Downtown Piqua Holiday Parade

The Downtown Piqua Holiday Parade, brought to you by Mainstreet Piqua, Inc., is a beloved family tradition.

This year’s parade will be on Saturday, December 6th, starting at 2 pm.

You may visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus after the parade in the lobby of the Piqua Public Library.

Oh, Christmas Tree!

The Downtown Piqua Holiday Parade will be on Saturday, December 6, at 2 p.m,. and we would love for YOU to be part of this great hometown tradition.

The parade is a very family-friendly event and we are inviting many types of units to participate, including bands, drill teams, floats, antique cars, fire departments, youth groups, churches, clubs, and civic organizations. Our goal is to promote as many Piqua organizations and businesses as possible, and this year’s parade theme, “Oh, Christmas Tree!”, will be enjoyed by all.

The lineup process for the Downtown Piqua Holiday Parade will be the same as last year, if you were involved. We will line up utilizing Greene and Wayne Streets next to Koverman, Staley Dickerson Insurance, and Papa Johns Pizza. Prior to the parade, you will receive your line-up information with the map, directions, and procedures for the day of the parade.

All entries will receive detailed information outlining arrival times, parade staging areas, etc. Please note the parade will start promptly at 2 p.m.

INDEMNITY AGREEMENT

The undersigned hereby makes application for entry in the Downtown Piqua Holiday Parade in association with Mainstreet Piqua, Inc., and agrees to abide by the rules and regulations of the committee governing the parade. Applicant understands that the Committee reserves the right to reject any or all applications.

In consideration for receiving permission to participate in the Piqua Holiday Parade, the undersigned hereby agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Mainstreet Piqua, Inc. The Piqua Holiday Parade Committee, and the City of Piqua or directors, officers, servants, agents or employees of the same from any loss, liability, damage or costs, including court costs and attorneys’ fees, that they may incur due to or arising from the undersigned’s participation in the parade.
