Piqua Farmers Market hosts Chocolate Chip Cookie Baking Contest

Attention all cookie enthusiasts! Get ready for an exciting event at the Piqua Community Farmers Market—the highly anticipated annual chocolate chip cookie baking contest. Mark your calendars for this Thursday, June 29, at 5:15 p.m. and be part of the delicious action!

The contest features two categories: Youth (14 & under) and adults. If you think you have what it takes to impress the judges with your scrumptious creations, bring your cookies to the farmers market between 3:00 p.m. and 5:15 p.m. on Thursday, June 29. The judging process will commence promptly at 5:15 p.m. Cookies will be evaluated on their appearance, taste, and overall appeal.

Once the judges have made their decision, the winners will be announced, followed by a delightful cookie and milk social. Contestants, as well as visitors and vendors of the Farmers Market, are invited to join in this delightful gathering. Don’t worry about the milk— it will be provided!

Whether you want to showcase your family’s cherished chocolate chip cookie recipe or invent a new and awe-inspiring variation, feel free to express your creativity and “wow” the judges. For detailed guidelines about the contest, please visit the special events tab at www.piquafarmersmarket.com.

The victorious individual in each category will be awarded with “Market Money,” which can be redeemed at any vendor at the Piqua Community Farmers Market. First-place winners in both categories will receive $15, while second-place winners will earn $10, and those securing third place will be awarded $5.
